Wheel-made ceramics painted with underglazes, glazes and luster.
The
jar on the left above is made of stoneware. It was thrown
on the wheel and decorated with several glazes. Luster was added before the last firing and gold leaf afterwards.
The porcelain pot on the right was thrown on the wheel and
decorated with underglazes, glazed with a mat blue
glaze and embellished with luster and gold leaf. These
porcelain plates are painted with underglazes and luster. The emphasis is on design as an
essential part of the potter’s art.
